Well I had my intake with the Royal academy of fine arts in The Hague... for Photography of course, and they didn't accept me... which hasn't bummed me out as much as I'd expect strangely enough. Maybe it's because I got to ask why, and they just explained.

You never guess: Too talented, maybe I'm more graphic designer then a photographer? because I draw so well, maybe I should do just fine arts.

It's so weird how being good at stuff can keep you back.. I mean... in high school every teacher said I had to do something with their subject... I chose music in the end, but didn't make the selection on the music academies, theory to hard. Oh well, went to do fashion then... but they quite quickly told me this wasn't the place for me, and I was already ahead of the final years...
Too talented, go to an arts academy... there they tell me after a year I'm way too talented for their academy and need to go study photography... I go to the intake in the Hague... guess what? I'm too good an artist! what the...

Still have an intake in Utrecht well see if we get in there though The Hague is the best academy in the country, most prestigious and best connected... And if I get into Utrecht we'll see, I'll finish my first year there and see if I wanna do the whole of their academy, or else I'll try The Hague again, see if I can switch..

else, if I don't get accepted, I'll travel and work for a year and most importantly: photograph a lot. So many placed I'd want to see, and want to experience, see through my camera... get to the core of. It could be very good for me as a person too...

We'll see, my outlooks till is sunny, I'll get there, no matter how long it takes.
